But EVERYDAY.<br /><br />Doesn't look as bad as it seems, cos' too much work makes time flies crazy fast! I go into office at 830am. Make my coffee, grab my bread and start off. Before you know it, it's lunchtime!!! Before you know it, its 5pm! And I remember, I can start to head to the gym. But here, work is still piling and when I start to feel exhausted, I look at the time and WOAH!!! 830pm! And before you know it, one day has passed.<br /><br />Working like this sure is fun cos' it takes your mind off from the emotional turmoils that life keeps throwing me. Some days, it can be pretty lonely. But once again, there's a REALLY healthy solution for that; WORK!!! Work till you feel like just lying down in office and not wanting to go back home to sleep. Cos' it's just a few hours more before u actually need to be back in office. There are so many jobs out there that pays. Why do we need to settle for the ones that are morally incorrect? It's just so subjective a matter and some people have their own view on which job is acceptable and which is not. For some, prostitution is wrong but nude modeling is alright. For the more conservative ones, selling cigarettes to people is wrong but running a liquor store is kinda acceptable (just because smoking causes more harm to the body than alcohol intake).<br /><br />But, let's tackle this from a christian point, cos' I'm more concerned over my christian friends and am genuinely sad when my friends go down the path of self-destruction for the pursue of money. Besides, these write up is about spotting my christian friend working a not-so-christian job.<br /><br />We all need money. We all got bills to pay. We all want to enjoy life with what we can have/spend. We all need to eat. And so, we all need money. But, do we really need to work in a job that pays more but degrades our own self and what people will view about us? I do have a choice to work in casinoes and assist in people losing their money and because of that, their familes are torn apart, they have an uncontrollable addiction and will get themselves into trouble for selling their things or borrowing from loan sharks; just in the hopes of winning something back? Do we have to sell DVDs to the public and promote pornography/illegal activities? Do we need to go around selling cigarettes and telling the buyers subconsciously to go and die? Do we need to be showgirls and attract customers to night spots/bars by flashing off your awesome body curves and shaved skin? And for the more grey area subject, do we need to be credit loan tellers that calls people up and ask approach them to loan money from us with "creative incentives only to owe banks more and more money? Do we need to work as liquor promoters so to encourage more guys to buy your drinks, get drunk and go back to beat up their wives? Do we need to be multi-level marketers, pushing people to buy useless products, joining memberships and "investing" more money to be managerial levels?<br /><br />And the list goes on. All those jobs above do pay us well, some with very high commission rates as well. But at the end of the day, is it all worth it? Are we happy with what we are doing? Be it part time or full time, the main question is, are you proud of what you are doing? For the sake of earning more money?<br /><br />Why do we need to keep earning so much? Sometimes, I really wonder why my friends would wanna earn that extra cash. To go clubbing more? Cos' clubbing ain't cheap. Cover charges to "cool" spots are expensive and no one wants to just go in and grab ONE drink.<br /><br />Why do we need to keep earning so much? To get that latest handphone cos' your 3 month old handphone is outdated? To get more clothing cos' you got nothing to your built-in wardrobe? To get an iPhone cos' your friends say it's better than your iTouch? To eat in expensive bistro/restaurants cos' hawker foodstalls are 'not so glamourous'? To go out movies every week cos' staying at home is boring? To buy that limited edition HELLO-KITTY notebook so that your collection of HELLO-KITTYs with be completed and you will be happy in the end? To travel to Paris for the holidays?<br /><br />Why do we need to keep earning that extra much? Will we be happy if we can get to buy more things/have better things? How sure are we when we get the iPhone, we will not change phones till year 2015 or when it breaks and falls apart? How such are we that we will be contented once we get to own the BMW645Ci and we can say, "I AM THERE! I WILL STOP!" And the next year comes the NEW BMW645Ci that has automatic parking assist, full windscreen display, 20 airbags, super bright Xenon HID, built-in computer with SAT-NAV, 21" rims with fully adjustable suspensions, finger print keyless ignition and so many other features. Why in the first place do we need to have such sinful luxury? Why do we need to earn that much?<br /><br />I'm just exaggerating in this scenario, but in our OWN case, do we really need to work in those kind of jobs just to earn that extra much? Why aren't we contented with what we have now? Do we really need to strive to be millionaires? For what? I'm just sharing to those out there that gets up from bed wondering why they need to live another day or go to work another day. I've come across so many friends getting up and just cannot think of other things than to earn money.<br /><br />"How can I make the most money out of today?" "How can I sell that thing to my friend so I can get the most out of that?" "How much should I charge him/her for making me work that much?" My parents will look at me with sympathetic eyes cos' they know the struggles I have gone through till today (and most probably till the day I die).<br /><br />But these people that asks me these questions got me thinking again. Why is it so bloody hard to find a companion that fits me when so so many people out there seem to have found someone? Take for example, my bodoh sister. Sigh. I don't like to say nice things 'bout my sister, but this Uncle Teo and my bodoh sister is just 'bout the ideal example of being a couple. They can be boring most of the time, but what is the point of being happening and exciting or spontaneous and impressive only to have my partner leave me at the end of the day?<br /><br />Finding someone is truly difficult. Especially when I'm a christian. It's truly truly difficult. Let me list down why.<br /><br />STEP 1. You have to be someone attractive. (ie: be a rockstar musician/extreme BMX stunt biker/car drifter/Olympic gold medalist/Donald Trump?/Pope John Paul/Brat Pitt)<br />STEP 2. You have to find a girl (probably a girl that's not modified from Thailand that has the same reproductive organ as I do). Not just any girl; a christian girl that isn't from any cultic church.<br />STEP 3. You have to do/find out all kinds of ways for her to like you (ie: take her to nice romantic getaways/have fancy dinners/deliver 100 roses everyday to her work desk in the morning/have an airplane to do skywrite "I love you, bitch."/buy a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera for her birthday.)<br />STEP 4. The girl who EVENTUALLY likes has gotta be approved by my so-called friends and parents. She<br /></div><ul style="text-align: justify;"><li>Cannot be obnoxious.</li><li>Has perfect proportions in body shape.</li><li>Is extremely pretty (close to the dazzles of Jessica Alba/Elisha Cuthbert/Adriana Lima/Nicole Scherzinger/Jessica Biel/Beyonce Knowles/Alessandra Ambrosia/Mischa Barton)<br /></li><li>Is a chemical analyst/geophysict/specialized doctor/structural engineer/supermodel/or maybe just a billionaire's daughter.</li><li>Cannot be annoying to my friends.<br /></li><li>Must be fun and sensitive.</li><li>Humble and creative.</li><li>Talented (able to stick her tongue out and touch her eyes with it/play at least 6 music instruments/make guys drool involuntarily/juggle durians).</li><li>Not be fussy and controlling.<br /></li></ul><div style="text-align: justify;">STEP 5. I have to be approved by her (constantly) and her friends/parents. I<br /><br /></div><ul style="text-align: justify;"><li>Gotta pray everyday that she won't pms.</li><li>Hope that the parents are the communist generals that burns you up just by looking at you.<br /></li><li>Gotta pray everyday that her parents have good days/struck lucky draws</li><li>Have to constantly be cool as to not be annoying anyone with my strange acts/attitude.</li><li>Make sure I keep doing STEP 3 so that her friends will be so jealous of her.</li><li>Always make sure I'm properly groomed (remove facial hair/comb pudic hair/shave where needed/wax my chest/plastic surgery/exercise and tone body/have perfect teeth/no bad breaths/dress to kill at all times/act proper and have good posture).</li><li>Pray that maturity exists in both parties whenever we get into an argument to avoid World War 3.</li><li>Gotta pray everyday that she will be an understanding person when I need her to be with me during hard times.<br /></li></ul><div style="text-align: justify;">STEP 6. Try to have STEP 3, 4 and 5 maintained till I am ready to eventually propose to her to marry me.<br />STEP 7. Find the right time/place to ask her to marry me if she haven't leave me for someone else.<br />STEP 8. Have the most eloborate/expensive/romantic/grand scaled wedding ever to impress all our friends. (as if they are not impressed already! SHEEESSHH!!)<br /><br /><ul><li>Invite The Pope to officiate the marriage.</li><li>Have divas like Celine Dion/Whitney Houston/Mariah Carey to sing in the wedding</li><li>Book the entire Starcruise ocean liner for everyone to celebrate the wedding and also travel around/party for a week.</li><li>Have superstar guests on board along with Hughes Hefner's parade of errr... well, you know what Hughes' known for.<br /></li></ul>STEP 9. Not get a divorce/not get bored of the wife after 10 - 30 years of marital torment.<br /><br />I've just exaggerated all the scenarios just to add drama. But if you can step back a little and think, isn't it true as to what is written in those various steps? Indeed, it is so impossible to find someone special/compatible. It is just such a sad thing that once you find someone who love, she don't want you. Or just when you find someone you really love, she uses you and drains you dry of every aspect; time, energy, money and emotions. Just when you are together with someone, you just break up cos' everyone else is not approving of us? Just when GOD say, Hey! you 2 are just perfect for each other. But, everyone else don't seem to think so. And slowly, you would believe them as well through many sessions of brainwashing and people focusing on all the bad things about me, instead of looking at me in an overall perspective.<br /><br />Oh! It's just sooo hard!<br /><br />But GOD IS GREAT. He will know what to do.
